Ah! Hello Netizen!

I've looked around this mass web and I've found... It's sterile and borish! Everyone is forced to only a handful of look-a-like sites that look as if they belong to mobile, and that leave no room for it's people there! Where is the creativity- hell. Where is the actual web crawling?! Once gone are the days that someone can create a site and trick it out with some of the most creative, weird, or inavative features and looks. No more, I say! It is time to bring back your power to create your wildest vision of the web. Let the people know that you're here, and that you're here to SLAY

Here is your first simple quest, Crawler. We will dwell in the realm of the html file: the bones of your new world. Special effects using css will come later.

1. Send this website to at LEAST one other person you can think of having an interest in having a place to call home on the web! This is important. People tend to want to stand out but often with others around them trying to do the same. This will be important later.


2. Create an account with Neocities. If you remember the days of Geocities, then it's like that. A web hosting place that allows you to crawl others creations.
   
3. Change the title under the head tag. This will change the name that appears on the tabs. It won't change the url, but we will get to that in time!


4. Add a header. It is the tag h1 through h6. The bigger the number, the smaller the text. Think of it like a title of a book, or a chapter of a book broken up into smaller sections. Use the header tag to state a name for your new domain on the web. Like how this one is currently called "New Quest!" using the h1 tag and "What once was old is new again" using the h3 tag.


5. Using the paragraph tag "p", type the ideas you wish to create on your site. You can list them out if you want a more organized look using the ordered list (ol) or unordered list (ul), then use the list tag (li) to contain each item in that list. I've even done it here! What? You don't have any ideas, and have no clue what you could do? Nonsense! Neocities has many, MANY sites people have created to get your ideas from! This is the essence of webcrawling. See how others have let there imagination be given form and let that be your inspiration! The virtual sky is the limit!

These are just the first steps of your domain. Many more will follow if you wish it. Tutorials exist everywhere to do just about anything, so don't ever be afraid to look something up! If you need quick, and very dirty code, you can always use one of the many AI chat bots out there to help you out, but I suggest ignoring that for now so you can build your legs before using an AI powered exo skeleton to help you walk. Neocities has a learning page that will point you in the right direction. But remember! Your path is your own, and how you discover yourself is up to you!
